Rose Nomura was born in Los Angeles, California. With her laptop and a passion for the ocean and adventure, she volunteered in marine conservation around the world for five years, and became a PADI Open Water Dive Instructor (now retired).

These days, she lives a simple life of surfing and hanging out with her dog.
